If you're tired of two parties that take money from the same corporations maybe it's time you got into the GREEN PARTY and voted for Ralph Nader.... the only politician that doesn't take the corporate dollar.

What I'm tired of, is being forced to "choose between the lesser of two evils", instead of the best man for the office. I've seen a lot of independant candidates who would do what is best for the country, but I know they don't stand a chance at the polls. As far as I can tell, the "Green Party" is a thin veneer pasted over the Communist party. Personally I would vote "Libertarian".

As a member of the Green Party I take offense to your calling me a communist because that implies something unamerican. A communist wouldn't support small business like I do. I've helped three open in the last year, doing free construction, business consulting, and press work. My dedication to the community at large stems from watching small businesses, and the main streets of every small town in the country dry up because of big business interests (who largely don't pay taxes.) And in the Green Party voting is important, so is bein a citizen, that's better than the Dems and the Republicans thinking everything is fine when the country only shows a 47 percent voter turn out.

So tell us Magnus, Where does the "Green Party" stand on Compulsory Education,Gun Control,One World Government(UN),Universal Banking and Monetary systems,Federal Taxation,Giving billions of dollars in cash and armament to third world and other countries while people here are starving in the street? Small business is great but historically has taken care of itself when all the other issues are in order.If the government

Politicians can be good for the eco system. The Environmental Wacko's out there can use them to create artificial reefs off the coast of Florida. I’m actually going to address Mondo’s comment regarding re-election, You are correct that all of us tax payers are busy working for Uncle Sam to pay for the eco assholes save everything and to waste on other countries by solving their problems like saving the starving dumb asses of some rag wearing desert dwelling farmers with our hard earned tax dollars. Save the money, send them a telegram that says “ you fucked now move the fuck out of the desert “ As far as getting fucked because the vote, well…. Everyone needs to get off their lazy asses and vote. It took eight years of bitching about comrade Wilhelm Klinton from apathetic Republican’s who where to busy (fucking lazy) to vote. The response from the sore loser Democrats was that swift and total bull shit as usual. How many times did Florida have to re-count those fucking ballots to verify that Bush won, Bush won, Bush won excuse the fuck outt’a me but the best man for the job Bush fucking won.
This same scenario replays itself in local and state elections. We will get fucked unless everyone stops bitching, pulls their share of the load and gets out there and votes. Educated or not, if you don’t vote the rest of us all get fucked because of you. I got a problem with that. If you don’t have a problem with that then you need to review the 8 years of damage caused by that son of a bitch Klinton. It’s no shit that there is power in numbers, the Democrats used it to their advantage and that right, we got fucked.
Your vote solves most of the issues that Mondo mentioned in his rant. The rest of the issues are dependant upon how much of this bullshit all of you tax payers are willing to tolerate.

As far as the term of Democracy floating around this thread; This country was founded as and still is a REPUBLIC. We have a democratic procedure called voting that elects candidates to office who then represent us. Some of the choices are as Mondo puts it, the lesser of two evils however we can, in most cases limit the amount of damage by being responsible and voting. If you don't, you then forfeit the right to bitch about anything going on with the government and how it is finding new ways to ass fuck all of us.

Sounds like you are right there. Here in Nebraska we do have a very greedy Gov. that he demand the state to cut 20 percent in all dept but not in his little office cause he needs them to do the work of two person like he has 20 of them.
Next his stupid idea was to sell water to some company in Colorado but we are in drought stage MMM selling 7 million gallons of water per day for 30 days so they can sell water to citys that needs water very bad. I thought you have that bad now begining to wonder are theis governers related some how?
