Description
- Designed to be used with OEM rear shocks.
- Allows ride height adjusted 2″ lower or raised 1/2″ over stock height.
- After installation, shocks are adjustable while on the bike.
- After the shocks are removed from the bike, installing the kit can be done by using a shop press or with mu20107 shock spring compressor.
- Use OE rubber bumpers & cup washers.
Fits: Softail Models 1989-1999
Note: As with any lowering operation, always check related parts such as headlight aim and kick stand lean angle.
Note: Installing a lowering kit will decrease initial ground clearance. The motorcycle will be lower to the ground and care should be taken to avoid bottoming, especially over bumps or in turns. To maintain proper balanced geometry, we recommend lowering the motorcycle the same amount front and rear.
